Privacy

Kingmakers Game Wiki is a static site with no accounts. Guide tools let you enter search terms, PC capacities and performance notes within the page; they do not submit those entries to this site or save them after you leave. It does run analytics and advertising, and this page says what each service collects.

On this page 6 sections

Analytics

  • Google Analytics 4 counts visits and records which pages are used, including scroll depth and clicks that leave the site. Guide controls also send fixed action labels and public destinations when analytics is loaded; search terms, hardware values and report text are not included in these events. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. It loads after the page has finished loading.
  • Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, including pointer movement, clicks and scrolling, so that visits can be replayed and combined into heatmaps. It does not start until you click, scroll, touch or press a key; once it starts, Microsoft sets its own cookies on clarity.ms and bing.com. Search and PC-tool areas are marked for masking in recordings, including the generated report preview.

Videos

Official trailers appear as a still image served from this site. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; the player then comes from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube’s own policies apply from that point.

Advertising

The home page and some of the most-read pages show ads from Adsterra. Banner and sponsored-card ads load inside their own frames, and from then on Adsterra and the advertisers it serves receive what any web request carries, including your IP address, your browser details and the address of the page, and may set their own cookies to choose ads and count them. On those pages an Adsterra script can also open one extra browser tab behind the one you are reading, the first time you click; that tab shows an advertiser’s page. No ads or ad scripts appear on this page, the terms, the sources list or the about page.

What this site stores

One setting in your browser: whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your device.

Hosting

The site is served from Cloudflare, so ordinary request logs exist at that layer, as for any website. This site does not query them.

Opting out

A content blocker, or a browser that blocks third-party scripts, stops analytics and ads from loading. Nothing on the site depends on them.
